- This App is not an official app of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC - a local government body in Thane City, Maharashtra, India ) or any government entity.
The App is provided as a service developed by Rohit Joshi as a technology service provider under TMC's authorization.

2. Purpose of the App:
The purpose of this app is to assist the users desirous of eco-friendly idol immersion during the Shree Ganesh Visarjan festival in Thane by:
- Allowing users to register for their Shree Ganesh Murti (idol) immersion by selecting a convenient immersion site and specifying the material used for their idol, which helps in appropriate segregation for immersion.
- Listing nearby available immersion sites for user convenience.

3. User Functionality:
- Users register with minimal information for identification.
Users specify the material used for their Shree Ganesh idol and select their preferred immersion site.
- A QR code is generated to be shown to volunteers for marking eco-friendly immersion at the site or can be used by the user for home immersion.

4. Clarification with TMC:
- Please note that while Rohit Joshi has been authorized to develop, publish and operate the app, this entity is not an official part of TMC. It does not represent the government in any official capacity beyond this project. 5. Data Usage:
- The app is free to use by the public.
- We collect the following information solely for operational purposes during the Ganesh Visarjan period: Name, email, contact details, and site preference to help manage immersion facilities efficiently.
- Data is used only for site management and event organization.
- Data is not shared with third parties, except with relevant TMC authorities for operational needs.
