The ElevateHR Africa app is a user-friendly employee self-service application designed to streamline access to the wide range of services provided by organizations using our ElevateHR Africa Payroll system.
With this Elevate app, employees can easily request payment advances, (access payslips, manage leave requests, and apply for loans in future modules).
The first version of the ElevateHR app features a payment advance module, providing employees with the ability to conveniently request payment advances from their organization.
This module offers two types of requests: normal and special. The normal request allows for a deduction at the end of the month, while the special request permits installment-based deductions over a maximum repayment period of three months. By offering these options, the module caters to different financial needs and ensures flexibility for employees seeking payment advances.
How to access ElevateHR App
The employee will be able to sign in using their company email address and a password.
The sign in functionality allows an employee who has been onboarded by their admin or HR to log in. Each employee receives an ESS invite to access their credentials.

On this page, employees can access two functionalities of payment advance;
1.Making a normal request (that is deducted at the end of the month)
2.Making a special request ( that is payable in installments (3 months max)
In addition, on this page, an employee will be able to see the history of their previous requests. The requests are filtered into different types.
How to request a payment advance on ElevateHR App
Type 1 payment advance: Normal Request
Step 1: Fill out the request form
On the normal request form, a user has three input fields;
a)Amount of payment advance
b)Category of request
c)The reason for the request (it's optional)
Step 2: Choose category
The employee will be provided with a list of category types, e.g., emergency, medical, etc. This option is to make their process easy.
Step 3: Terms & Conditions
There is a Terms and Conditions checkbox too. The terms and conditions is a contract between employee and employer (providing the advance)
Type 2 payment advance: Special Request
This page is a special payment advance request form. This request is payable in installments.
Step 1: Fill out the special request form
The form has four input fields for the employee;
a)Amount of payment advance
b)The repayment period is between 1 and 3 months.
c)Category of request
d)The reason for the request (it's optional)
Step 2: Terms & Conditions
There is a Terms and Conditions checkbox too. The terms and conditions is a contract between employee and employer (providing the advance)
The ElevateHR App is ONLY provided to organizations using our ElevateHR Africa Payroll system.
This is how ElevateHR's payment advance module works together with the mobile app, for HRs and employees
1.An employee sends a payment advance request
2.HR receives this request via the admin dashboard
3.HR uses a checklist to either approve or deny the request
4.Employee tracks the status of their request
5.HR performs the action of either approving or denying the request
6.Employee receives the notification of approval or denial on their app or in their email
7.HR processes and disburses the payment advance funds
8.Employee receives the funds
9.A report is generated and shared with the employee and management
