This short course is intended for boatmasters studying (or preparing for training) in GMDSS (General Operator), GMDSS (Restricted Operator) courses. The course covers EVERYTHING related to GMDSS. Basic principles of GMDSS organization. Radiotelephony in the GMDSS. Narrowband direct-printing communication. Satellite connection. Means of emergency notification of life-saving appliances. Examples of procedures for working with GMDSS equipment are given.
Objective of the course: To give a general idea of ​​the structure and purpose of the GMDSS system, as well as the principles and rules of working with the equipment of the subsystems included in the GMDSS.
Part 2 "GMDSS-Review" - An interactive additional course "GMDSS-training" is expected in June-July 2021, about which separate information will be provided on the website.
