Open to Move is a free 12 month program aiming to help you increase your physical activity by providing you with support via one-to-one online meetings plus an app.

What's involved?
• Receive guidance on pursuing physical activity goals
• Regular meetings online and reminders to check in on your progress
• Monitor your activity level using your mobile phone and the Open to Move app
• Provide face to face feedback about your experience
What are the benefits?

Eligibility criteria:
• Adult aged 18-69 years
• Fluent in English
• Reside in Australia
• Own an Android™ mobile phone
• Walk without the need of assistance
• Suitable health to undertake physical activity
• Access to online video calls through Zoom
Health data used:
The app uses your step and distance data to display your step count and activity history and as part of the research study.
Open to Move is a research study proudly conducted within the Physical Activity, Sport and Exercise Research (PASER) theme in the Faculty of Health at Southern Cross University.
This research is funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council's Discovery Project scheme (DP240101163), and was approved by Southern Cross University's Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC Approval 2024/088).
