Twice is a girl group from South Korea which is under the auspices of JYP Entertainment. They were formed through a survival program called SIXTEEN in 2015. Twice has 9 members. Namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice officially debuted on October 20, 2015.
Twice's popularity then skyrocketed through their song entitled Cheer Up in 2016. At that time Cheer Up was ranked 1 on the Gaon Digital Chart and became the best selling single in the same year.

Another song, TT from their third EP Twicecoaster: Lane 1, topped the charts for the fourth week in a row. It was the best-selling girl group album for 2016, and sold 350,852 copies by the end of the year.
