Aespa (에스파; written as æspa) is a South Korean four-member girl group under SM Entertainment. The group made its debut on November 17, 2020. Their name comes from the merger of 'æ' which comes from 'Avatar X Experience' & 'aspect'. The meaning behind the name is a variety of innovative activities that will come with the theme 'Getting to experience a new world through the meeting of 'avatar' and 'your other self'. The members of aespa consist of Karina (카리나), Giselle (지젤), Winter (윈터), and Ningning (닝닝)
