About Espacio Arterial

Contemporary art often invites the viewer to go beyond superficial contemplation, demanding active, reflective, and sensitive participation. Aware of this reality and committed to the mission of bringing art and culture to an increasingly diverse audience, we at the Bachelor's Program in Communication and Management of Culture and the Arts at the Universidad de la Comunicación undertook the task of creating an innovative, inclusive, and accessible tool for all.

Thus was born Espacio Arterial, a mobile application designed as an alternative medium for cultural dissemination. Our intention is to provide a platform that facilitates the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of contemporary art through digital resources that accompany the viewer on their journey through different artistic expressions.

Espacio Arterial is more than just an audio guide. It is a bridge between art, cultural institutions, and the public. Through carefully selected audio clips and complementary information, users can access relevant content that enriches the experience of each exhibition or show, all from the convenience of their mobile device, whether Apple or Android.

This app was conceived and developed by students and faculty of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Management of Culture and the Arts at the Universidad de la Comunicación, as part of an academic and social commitment to democratizing access to culture and contributing to the development of more informed, critical, and sensitive audiences.
