We try to generate awareness in all of the many documents the Showmen will need to produce in order to open and run their businesses. This can range from up to date Risk assessments /signage /regulatory checks on their equipment etc
We try to demystify the policy wordings by giving clear layman’s descriptions of what words mean and again how they could affect the showmen and their family’s and business
We remind clients to take stock of the value of their assets and to do the best they can to protect their livelihood by protecting it
We can explain to the Showmen what insurers are expecting from them and will want to see and what the implications can be of not understanding the terms and conditions ie their claim may not be paid
We encourage the Showmen to keep a clear paper audit trail so that when a claim arises they have all the paperwork required to hand
We encourage the Showmen to protect their family’s health as in the main they are self employed and so by opting for Private health care they can have their treatment at a time that suits their business schedule and or family commitments
We always try to spend time talking & listening to the Showmen in order to hear how they live and work and to share our knowledge with them and vice versa as we learn about their business and family needs
We all need to try and work smarter and so we are always looking for ways to cut down on paperwork and costs for us and them
We try to forge relationships with associated trades ie vehicle repairers / accountants /solicitors /wedding planners so that when a showman needs help we have a trusted supplier who can hopefully assist in a like minded fashion
