The poem “The Voice of Sapphire Al-Bulbul” is one of the famous poems, and was mistakenly attributed to Al-Asma’i, as it was rumored that Al-Asma’i said it in front of the Abbasid Caliph Abu Jaafar Al-Mansur, and the truth is that both of them are innocent; As the poem was presented to some storytellers and they explained with the evidence the reason why this poem was not proven from Al-Asma’i and they denied its attribution to him, and they explained that the parties from which the information was taken are from unreliable sources, just as the narration requires adding the trait of fraud to the Caliph Abu Jaafar Al-Mansour; who is innocent.
