You are running, hearing in your headphones your favourite music from Spotify. You begin to get tired and to slow your run down. Then at this moment, a song plays that marks the same rhythm than your steps. And you found a new energy and boost forward.
Runnersong gives you the tool to mark the rhythm, choosing between that songs that moves you the ones that have the rhythm -or TEMPO- you prefer.
You can choose a rhythm to equal your steps, so you are comfortable and can keep it all the run.
You can choose a faster TEMPO, to shorten your steps and get fatigue down, or a slower one to slow down or lengthen your steps.
You can keep the rhythm all the way or change it when do you want, for training purposes.
If you like to run fast with slow music, then you can activate duplicator mode.
With values of TEMPO variation you can select a very narrow rhythm variation or some more margin for it.
In configuration menu there are three modes:
-Predefined - suggested values of TEMPO variation and duplicator.
- Automatic - you choose how long your run session will be and values of TEMPO variation and duplicator are automatically calculated for minimal variation inside your selected playlists.
- Fixed Values- you can select any values of TEMPO variation and duplicator.
You can choose songs of every Spotify playlist you have. Or you can create a single playlist where you can include all the songs you like for running, because not every song from a list is fit for exercise, even if it have the right rhythm. For example you can keep out songs with long intros or speech.
The Spotify playlist created with this app will include every song from the chosen playlists that comply with selected TEMPO, ordered from slowest to fastest, between the selected TEMPO variations. This list will be overwritten with every configuration or TEMPO change.
After playlist creation, you can hear it using Spotify normally, like every other playlist. You only need to keep Runnersong App running if you want to change the TEMPO on the run.
The same idea you can use with another rhythmic tasks: cycling, walking, rhythmic gym, etc.
It’s a normal problem to get stuck with Spotify server when you ask for a great amount of operations in short time, and the playlist will not refresh. Then you can enter Spotify App, select the Runnersong playlist, and it will refresh at the moment.
