Born in 1977, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT-NOVA) is one of the organic units of the New University of Lisbon, dedicated to teaching and research in the areas of exact sciences, biological sciences, technologies and engineering.

The application was fully developed by the Center for Electrical and Computer Engineering (NEEC) of the Faculty of Science and Technology, a non-profit association made up of FCT's MIEEC students. NEEC-FCT is currently made up of 50 1st to 5th year students of electrotechnics who continually work to energize the core.
