Compliance has established and proven itself in all companies and organizations as a means of self-regulation. However, compliance as the documented, ongoing observance and observance of regulations, laws, guidelines and contractual obligations is a very complex topic that also includes issues of corporate governance and risk management. What compliance is in this comprehensive understanding and how it can be implemented and managed is taught in this course with a focus on IT processes in a practical way. The presentation of compliance management is based on recognized standards such as IDW PS 980.

The written exam can be taken online or at a campus location of the FernUniversität Hagen of your choice. If you pass the exam, you will receive a university certificate. Students can also have the ECTS points they have earned certified for a Certificate of Basic Studies.
