The BENIN 2020 reference price index is for products commonly used by the public administration. It is not a document intended to regulate prices, but rather defines reasonable intervals of price variation to be practiced by suppliers of goods and services to the public administration. For each product, the directory indicates a median price obtained from the prices collected generally on three points of sale. Taking into account possible fluctuations in the profit margin and the payment period led to the definition of a variation interval delimited by a lower bound (BI) and an upper bound (BS).
