You'll explore Landshut's Old Town, Trausnitz Castle high above Landshut's city center, Altdorf, Bruckberg, Ergoldsbach, and Vilsbiburg. With guided walks or exciting outdoor games, explore the lives of people in the Stone Age, a Celtic burial, a power struggle between the nobility and the church in the early Middle Ages, the founding of the city of Landshut and the construction of Trausnitz Castle, the Landshut Wedding in 1475, the era of the Kröningen pottery in the 19th century, and the creation of the historical festival "Landshut Wedding" in the 20th century. You'll marvel at long-destroyed buildings that appear before you in full 3D, gaze down at the hustle and bustle of the old town from the tower of Landshut's St. Martin's Church, find and explore virtual 3D objects, encounter video avatars who give you clues to solve quiz questions, and see paintings that come to life and speak to you. In GPS search tasks, you'll explore the surroundings and solve challenging puzzles. All stories are based on the knowledge of a panel of experts consisting of archaeologists, historians, and museum staff in the Landshut region. In the museums, you can marvel at the objects and stories discovered on your journey through time in real life. With AR and VR experiences, deepfakes, 3D objects, 3D building reconstructions, quizzes, and scoring, you'll expand your reality and immerse yourself in the history of the Landshut region.
