FM Raíces 91.7 Mhz, is the radio of Cadejur, this station plays an important role in the link of the partners with the Institution.

It is the voice of all those who need to be heard, since both the partners and the entire community can participate actively, it can be heard throughout the province and the country online.
The birth of Cadejur radio

FM Raíces was born on April 2, 1998. At that time, Cadejur operated at 169 Güemes Street in the City of Viedma, an old rented house that contained both Cadejur and its radio.
Difficult times, of great uncertainty. Times of rejection on the part of some leaders, journalists and the media, little used to democratic practices and coexistence in dissent.

Those who accompanied our beloved radio station from the first moment were the elders, partners and non-members of Cadejur, understanding that a possibility was opened to tell the things and events of our retirees and our peoples, without censorship and exposing a reality that until then it had been drawn.

From then on, people got used to having their own means to make themselves heard and know about their real problems and needs. It was then that we had to pay a price for telling the truth. Political circumstances favorable to the provincial government were taken advantage of and an operation to close the station was launched, with the complicity of provincial government officials and some of their partners. This happened in 2001.

In April 2003 we returned to our House and continued working so that Cadejur had its radio with all the corresponding legal attributes. Thus, on August 24, 2005, FM Raíces was on the air again with the Comfer's resolution authorizing its operation.

Roots has become the voice of those citizens who want to express themselves with total freedom and who can do so without fear. Its owners are the 6,300 partners that are distributed throughout the province and who listen to us on the Internet, to whom we owe ourselves and we are satisfied to serve.
