At Fractal, we’re on a mission to power every human decision through the lens of brain sciences. Touch Stream is a research-focused app designed to uncover how people interact with their smartphones.
This tool is intended for participants aged 20–35 and captures anonymous interaction data over a 15 days period. All data is stored securely on your device and shared only with your explicit consent via WhatsApp or email. Once shared, the data is processed anonymously and used solely for research purposes.
Touch Stream attempts to uncover user-smartphone behaviours. To achieve this, Touch Stream uses Android’s Accessibility API to monitor your touch events, when and on which app you touch your screen and screen on/off events. This allows us to study usage patterns such as touch frequency and app usage, without collecting or storing any personal or sensitive information on the screen or through the keyboard.
Touch Stream has passed rigorous Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to ensure it meets high security standards.
