"Online Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Website" Description
The Ministry of Digital Development launched an anti-fraud reporting platform that provides a channel for the public to query suspected online fraud and report fraud. If you see a suspected fraudulent message online, you can paste the message's URL into the app to check if anyone has already reported the message and whether it has been confirmed as a scam. If no one has reported the message yet, you can also report it immediately.
APP Features
1. Query Suspected Fraud Information
The "Online Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Website" app allows the public to query suspected fraud information. Users can enter a URL, text message content, or other suspicious information to quickly identify whether it is a scam. The system integrates fraud information from the National Police Agency's 165 National Fraud Prevention Network, the Financial Supervisory Commission's Financial Consumer Protection Center, and other competent authorities, and uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze and identify fraudulent information for public reference.
2. Report Suspected Fraud Information
If the public encounters suspicious fraud information, they can also report it through the "Online Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Website" app. Reported information will be immediately submitted to the competent authorities for verification, and based on the results, the relevant fraud information will be removed or marked.
3. Understand fraud patterns
The "Online Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Website" provides statistics on fraudulent messages within the system and a data dashboard on Taiwan's anti-fraud efforts to enhance public awareness of fraud.
