GamBlock® Lockout allows non-gambling apps that can facilitate gambling to be opened, minus gambling. For example, browsers are not a gambling but can access gambling sites.

GamBlock® does not use unsecured Virtual Private Networks to block gambling as they can easily be circumvented by using another VPN, Tor or the like. VPNs can also be deleted. In a special sandboxed and locked out mode, what we call borderline apps can be opened and used to surf, minus gambling.

GamBlock® uses heuristics or app intelligence to block, rather than VPN or hosts lists, so it will block new sites before even we know of their release.
