!!! Jay Bhole !!! Mahadev Mandir is one the oldest Temple in the Temple City - Nashik and is located near Ramkund, Panchvati, slightly kilometers faraway from the principle bus stand. One can attain right here, through taking a bus, taxi or three wheelers from anywhere within the town. Nashik's Kapaleshwar Temple is sacred to Lord Shiva. Hop, pass and jump far from the enduring Ramkund, the temple is pretty uncommon due to the fact, like other Shiva shrine, there is no statue of Lord Nandi, the gatekeeper of Shiva.

According to the legends, the temple changed into the location in which Lord Shiva performed penance after taking a holy dip in Ramkund to wash off his sin. The motive why there may be no Nandi statue inside the temple is due to the fact Lord Shiva regarded Nandi as a Guru or teacher and subsequently, there is no Nandi to guard the Kapaleshwar Temple. On every Saturday evening they have Maha Aarti. Before Maha Aarti the Shivling is fully Decorated with lots of shringars and too many people come here from all over nashik to attend the aarti of ‘Jay Bhole’.
Aarti starts at 8 pm on every Saturday and ends almost by 11.30 pm.
