The purpose of this project was to speed and integrate the current syllabus of Amravati university using the existing technologies and develop an application for Android phone and a website for non-application user’s.
The goal with the application was to find new ways to speed up and give a structure the studying process which would make learning simplified.
The end user would use the application to search for studying new concepts in one go and testing his/her knowledge via quiz section also papers of previous years are also available.
The development process consisted of four steps – investigation, design, implementation and testing.
The Investigation was done by looking at current syllabus model and various other applications and websites which were serving similar purpose.
Design consisted of intro page consisting of branch selection after which page consisting of all semesters with their respective topics also after selection of a topic from a specific semester the page would redirect to that subject with a side-navigation for its sub-topics and another drop-down navigation consisting of paper and quiz section.
The application was implemented for both website as well as android application users and a comparison was made between the two systems.
The last step was testing and it was done by exploration and performance testing.
It became clear that using this model of learning is much efficient than the tradition one, but the application still has a long way to go with testing and further consultations from users.
