The Geckolo application aims to provide articles on the theme of the environment and particularly climate change. Written by a collective bringing together solid skills in different fields (science, engineering, law, public affairs, etc.), these articles are classified into two categories: news articles and in-depth articles. The characteristic of these articles is that they systematically rely on solid references, which can come for example from the IPCC (IPCC), the IEA (International Energy Agency), scientific articles, etc. These articles are short, educational, and provide precise references for those who wish to explore the subject in more depth.
The articles are regularly updated and the article base is regularly enriched, constituting a body of knowledge that is easily consultable, quantified and solidly referenced. These articles focus on physical phenomena, but also on the concrete consequences of climate change as well as possible levers to limit its scale and consequences.
In order to find information or consult an article on a given subject, a keyword search is implemented. It is also possible to consult the list of all articles available via the titles only or via a summary of each article.
The guideline is simple: scientific rigor and pedagogy.
With the Geckolo application, you have in your pocket the answer to all the questions (or almost…) that you ask yourself (or that others ask you) about climate change and the major environmental issues of our time!
