Benazir Income Support Programme App Guide 2020

Under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) program, the BISP smart card was initiated for cash disbursement of funds to every deserving person. NADRA played a crucial role of identifying the rightful persons under the BISP programs by applying various biometric checks. These payments are made through partner banks to the beneficiaries through a highly transparent mechanism. Later grants were given to the families through phone to phone banking. Beneficiaries were issued with a SIM and cell phone at NADRA counter to receive SMS for cash grant. After presenting SMS and valid NIC copy, the beneficiaries receive cash grant by Point of Sale (PoS) franchise.
