The GEMA Property Rate App offers online settlement of the Greater Accra East Municipal property tax.

The GEMA Property App has three types of users: Property Owner, Property Overseer and Community Member. A Property Owner owns one or more real estate properties in the area administered by the Ga East Municipal Assembly (GEMA). GEMA has assigned a unique number for each property to ease administration and editing of property information. A Property Overseer is a property leasing agent appointed to take care of or supervise properties under GEMA. He is entitled by GEMA to settle property rates on behalf of a property owner. A Community Member is anybody within the GEMA who likes to stay up to date on the real estate market without editing rights. All user profit from the App’s notification feature.

The GEMA Property App also allows property owners to settle property debts due to the municipal assembly. The App supports three modes of settlements: mobile money, card payments and USSD short code.

The municipal announcements or notice feature allows the municipal administration to reach out to the App users concerning community activities and any general information concerning the municipality.
