Genta Ummat is a waqf movement with a number of millions of people, and also with a nominal waqf of one million rupiah for one certificate.

Genta Ummat aims to mobilize the strength of the ummah to help create a generation of Muslims who have high quality in all dimensions of life, improve the quality and quantity of international Islamic education services, increase public awareness to participate in the Million Ummah Waqf Movement, and bridge communities who want to take part in Jariyah charity through the Genta Ummat Waqf Program.

Genta Ummat Waqf Program Stages:
Socialization
Awareness of the importance of building the strength of the Ummah through the waqf program must be known by the wider community. By making waqf, the funds donated will not decrease, but will actually increase and can provide many benefits to the community. Apart from the commands of Allah SWT and the rewards He promises, waqf includes infaq fi sabilillah, so the basis used by the ulama in explaining the concept of waqf is based on the Al-Quran Surah Al-Baqarah (2): 267 "O you who believe! Spend (in the way of Allah) some of the good results of your efforts, and some of what We bring out from the earth for you."; Q.S. Ali Imran (3): 92 "You will never reach (perfect) virtue until you spend some of what you love."; Q.S. al-Baqarah (2): 261 "The parable of (the income spent by) those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is similar to a seed that grows seven heads. In each ear there are a hundred seeds. Allah multiplies (rewards) for whom He wills, and Allah is All-Encompassing (His bounty) and All-Knowing.”

Waqf Collection
Genta Ummat Waqf includes Cash Waqf, where waqifs (people who have waqf) can make waqf using money through banks that have been appointed by the Indonesian Waqf Board. Through the Genta Ummat application, people can easily give waqf using various payment methods provided such as GoPay, and Bank Transfer (Permata VA, BNI VA, Mandiri Bill Payment and transfers to all banks in Indonesia with the ATM Bersama, ALTO and Prima logos) . Waqf funds paid via the above payment methods will all be transferred to a bank account appointed by the Indonesian Waqf Board.

Waqf Management
In accordance with the provisions in force at BWI, the waqf funds collected will be managed through investment instruments that are profitable and in accordance with Islamic sharia. The waqf fund will become an endowment fund that will continue to grow and will not decrease. And managing waqf funds through investment instruments will produce profits that can be used for educational programs. Nazhir waqf will maintain and preserve the value of waqf, in a manner that complies with the provisions and instructions of BWI through designated banks, including: Bonds, Sukuk, Sharia Deposits (Wadiah), Equity (Musyarakah), Shares and Sharia Mutual Funds.

Utilization of Waqf
The profits from the invested waqf funds will be used in educational programs including educational scholarships, student loans, educational research, assistance with operational costs and construction of educational facilities.
