Once you’ve set your goals, you’re ready to take on our financial challenges. There are a number of pre-set Ostrich challenges, based around Saving, Spending, Debt, Investing and Giving, but you can also create your own challenges. These challenges provide structure, enabling you to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

ACCOUNTABILITY

However, structure isn’t always enough. In fact, the most important factor in achieving your goals is accountability. That’s why we’ll be there to hold you to the promises you made yourself by signing up for a challenge. You can choose from text, email and push notifications to keep you honest when it comes to your commitments.

GROUP CHALLENGES

Coming soon, you’ll be able to participate in group challenges with your friends - you know what they say, “a little friendly competition makes the whole flock richer”. Don’t worry, the only amounts you’ll see are your own - you’ll be able to hold each other accountable without knowing the intimate financial details or plans we don’t always want to share.

Finally, we know that one of the more confusing parts of finance is figuring out what accounts you actually need, and whether you should be paying for them or not. In our Marketplace, you’ll find our curated recommendations on the best financial tools to meet your goals.

PRIVATE & SECURE

As we said, you won’t need to link to any of your bank accounts to use Ostrich. We aren’t interested in your credit card balance, how much is in your bank account, or offering you financial services - there are plenty of companies out there that do that already, and they’re really good at it. We’re just here to help you get from A to B, and in doing so, take control of your financial future.
