On the history of gfA e.V.
The Society for Working Methodology e.V. (GfA) was founded on January 10, 1954 by 25 founding members. The founding members were all students of Gustav Großmann, the German pioneer in the areas of self-optimization and work methodology. The work methodologists' desire to increase the performance of creative people was still new at that time. The GfA saw its tasks as promoting contact with each other, “giving the best humanly and intellectually” and enabling intellectual and economic support.
