If a previously set limit is reached, the Sputnik cloud sends an instant message to the mobile phone. Alarm conditions can be: falling below or exceeding a set temperature or leaving a temperature range. The Sputnik can be used both as a frost warning device and for monitoring crops that require certain environmental conditions.

>> Remote access

All settings can be made safely and easily using the Sputnik app from anywhere and changed up to four times a day.

>> Energy efficient

A solar cell in combination with a rechargeable battery ensures permanent and energy-self-sufficient operation. This means there is no need to change batteries. At the same time, this also protects the environment.

>> Temperature sensors

Digital, watertight encapsulated temperature sensors are used. The connection length of the temperature sensors is either 1m or 3m.

>> Soil moisture sensor

The soil moisture can be determined using an optional Watermark® suction voltage sensor.

>> Measured values

All recorded measured values ​​of the connected sensors are available to the user in clear graphs. The period shown can be freely selected. The current measured value, as well as the minimum and maximum value in the selected period can be seen directly.

>> Expandable

To ensure that the Sputnik is also equipped for future tasks, the basic design was easy to expand from the start. The aim is to develop Sputnik in close exchange with the users and to adapt it to other functions and areas of application. The connection of additional sensors or the control of externally supplied devices via relay outputs is provided. Sensors for precipitation measurement and wind speed are currently under development.
