The primary goal of Canada Express Entry is to give the Canadian government, through Citizenship and Immigration Canada, control over the selection of prospective migrants under the skilled workers category.
To that end, and as a precursor to the minimum 67-point criteria, a system is being developed in which applicants interested in migrating are ranked against one another using a set of parameters. The comprehensive Ranking System refers to the tool that contains these parameters, ranking, and selection (CRS).
