INCE is a mobile application based on scientific evidence, developed in collaboration between the GINTA research team at the University of Alicante and CubeCut Software. This advanced tool allows us to evaluate the gut-brain relationship, analyzing gastrointestinal symptoms, pain, and sensory reactivity to sensory stimuli in people with or without autism spectrum disorder.
The app offers two modes of use adapted to the user's needs:
• Self-informed mode: ideal for personal and autonomous use.
• Mode for caregivers or professionals: facilitates the evaluation of people with autistic disorder and helps the professional personalize the therapy.
INCE provides an accurate measurement of the severity of gastrointestinal symptoms according to the Rome IV criteria. Additionally, it provides detailed information on pain intensity and sensory responses, covering hypo- and hyper-reactivity in the senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste.
The application also allows therapies to be designed and adapted based on the data collected, providing useful tools for both specialists and families of people with autism or related disorders. Plus, it generates custom reports that show percentile scores based on the user's age and gender, all at no cost.
Main features:
• Scientific evaluation of gastrointestinal symptoms, pain and sensory reactivity.
• Modes of use for self-information and for professionals or caregivers.
• Measurement of symptoms based on the Rome IV criteria.
• Personalized reports with percentile scores according to age and sex.
