- Draw custom patterns of sheet metal parts obtained with bending.
- Calculate accurately the development length in real time.
- Approximate the k-factor for you depending on the material and the bending method if you do not have a clue about what a realistic value should be.
- Use an intuitive and easy-to-understand interface to calculate rapidly the developed length with simple and straightforward AutoCAD-like drawing commands without the need of desktop cumbersome computer assisted design.
- Check possibly for the eventual minimum bending flange length.
- Calculate the bend allowance and the bend deduction without the need of charts.
Please note that the feasibility of the bending process is utterly user’s responsibility. We recommend also checking the tables provided by machine manufacturers.
How to use the drawing interface?
- Click the « INC » button to use the incremental (relative to previous point) coordinate system.
- Click the « ABS » button to use the absolute (relative to origin) coordinate system.
- Click the « x,y » button to use the cartesian coordinate system.
- Click the « r,Ɵ » button to use the polar coordinate system.
- Click the « undo » button to go back to the previous step.
- Click the « reset » button to clear the drawing and start from scratch.
- Click the double arrow button to flip the direction of metal thickness.
- Double tap on screen to display absolute cartesian coordinates of current point.
- Pinch zoom to rescale.
