The National Health Mission (NHM) of Madhya Pradesh has initiated Telemedicine Services in the Primary Healthcare Centers of Madhya Pradesh in order to provide super specialty consultations to all citizens residing in remote and isolated locations in the state.
Key objectives of the Telemedicine Services are as follows:
1. Provide quality healthcare services through telemedicine for the benefit of patients living in remote and underserved areas
2. Provide specialist consultations such as access to Pediatricians, Gynecologist and General Physicians , where specialist Doctors are not available
3. Help Patients to maintain their health records safely and securely in the system for anytime access
4. Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement in services
