CERA, standing for Classroom Easy Random Arrangements, is an app for teachers (or anyone needing to manage groups of people).

With a class of students that the user can enter, CERA can either randomly group the students into groups based on the number of groups or the number of people per group or pick a student from the class at random.

CERA was designed by Mika Okamoto, a student at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, California, as she wanted to help out her teachers with a convenient method of arranging students.

CERA recently won the Congressional App Challenge for District CA-52 in 2020 - thank you Scott Peters!

While CERA says that it requires permissions, CERA does not actually use these permissions. Thunkable requires them in all Thunkable apps, but CERA itself does not use any of these permissions (Contacts, Camera, Record Audio, Read Phone State). For more information check out the privacy policy.
