Interventional cardiology, created ex nihilo in 1977 by Andreas Gruentzig,
has now established itself as the reference discipline in the treatment
coronary, valvular and congenital heart diseases.

The CFCI for more than 20 years has always been faithful to the founding idea of ​​the Master,
namely teaching this discipline through live broadcast
interventions to a crowd of cardiologists eager for experiences and
knowledge ; loving often remember that little Brazilians were learning
first football in the stadium of Maracanã seeing it playing their idols.

As for all previous congresses, the CFCI will broadcast in 2019 a
ten "lives" adapted to the last percutaneous territories to conquer
(CTO, complex calcified lesions, aortic and mitral structural ...) which
will soon become more and more commonplace
customary in all the "cathlabs" of the French-speaking world.
