"GraphoGame Classe" is a decoding training software that helps preschool, elementary school, and struggling children strengthen their early reading skills. GraphoGame is a digital companion that guides children through their first steps in reading, from decoding to comprehension. This game helps children learn the sounds of letters and letter groups by simultaneously presenting the corresponding sounds (or words) and letter groups.
GraphoGame helps develop many essential reading skills:
• knowledge of letters and the alphabetic principle,
• decoding, encoding, confusions, inversions
• but also comprehension, morphology, and conjugation.
"GraphoGame Classe" is designed for use in classrooms. A GraphoGame account is required to use the game. Please contact us to learn more about creating an account.

The game's progression is based on scientific data: the software was developed by linguists, neuropsychologists, and speech therapists to help children—especially struggling readers—strengthen fundamental reading skills. Designed for the first-grade classroom, GraphoGame Classroom offers a linear and structured 30-week program, aligned with the French National Education curriculum, with a progressive introduction of grapheme-phoneme correspondences (CGP). Teachers benefit from an online interface to track their students' progress, assign exercises, and form level groups, ensuring seamless integration of the game with their classroom programming. This comprehensive program develops children's skills, from initial phonemic awareness to sentence comprehension.
"GraphoGame Class" guides children through various games with their own character, which they develop throughout the game. Players gradually move on to syllables, rhymes, short words, and sentences, and gradually learn to decode longer words. By playing for 15 minutes daily, children will improve their accuracy in decoding letters and words, as well as their reading speed.
The GraphoGame platform is developed by a leading community of researchers and game developers in Finland, while the French-language content of "GraphoGame: Learn to Read" was developed by the Cognitive Psychology Laboratory (CNRS) at Aix-Marseille University.
