Give Back to Earth is a student run campaign started by a group of five students with a common goal - to make composting a household phenomenon. We plan to achieve this by making composting economical, efficient, and hassle-free, showing people that, by making a small investment, they can bring about a substantial change.

Ours is the generation that bears the biggest burden of the detrimental effects of global warming, and we may be the last that can do anything to prevent it. One of the major reasons for the rise in global warming, especially in our city, is the improper waste disposal system.

At Give Back to Earth, we aspire to alleviate this problem and reduce global warming while coming up with an alternative waste management system - composting. Composting often comes across as a labor-intensive and time-consuming process. We associate it with foul odour and messiness. It was to tackle these problems that we designed our composter, MAATI.
