Set in a realm of eternal night, Grim Omens puts the player in the shoes of a fledgling vampire, a creature of blood and darkness struggling to maintain the grip on their fading humanity in a mysterious and hostile world.

The game combines classic dungeon crawling elements, familiar turn-based combat mechanics, and various tabletop and board game influences to create an immersive and accessible old-school RPG experience.

The 3rd entry in the Grim series, Grim Omens, is a standalone sequel to Grim Quest. It refines the established formula of Grim Quest and Grim Tides, all the while offering an intricate story and detailed lore that ties in with previous games in strange and unexpected ways.

Inspired by old school dungeon crawling games, as well as ttRPG classics such as Vampire (The Masquerade, The Dark Ages, Bloodlines) and Dungeons and Dragons' Ravenloft (Curse of Strahd).
