Arba'in Nawawi or Al-Arba'in An-Nawawiyah is a book compiled by Al-Imam al-Allamah Abu Zakaria Muhyiddin bin Syaraf an-Nawawi ad-Dimasyqi (Imam Nawawi). This book contains 42 hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, as well as being a reference for scholars because it contains the main hadiths that are important and contain the basics of Islam.

This book is a favorite among santri to start memorizing the Prophet's hadiths before moving on to larger books. Imam Nawawi actually chose the hadiths that became the foundation of Islam in compiling his Arba'in book.

The 42 hadiths written in this book are expected to be sufficient to represent and summarize all the hadiths of the Prophet because they are core hadiths. These hadiths, among them by some scholars are referred to as "rubu'ut tasyri'" (a quarter of the legislation of Islamic law), "rubu'ud din" (a quarter of the dien), and "tsulutsud din" (one third of the dien).
