Now 100 charades!
Fascinating puzzles for you and your children. Charade - a kind of mystery. Charade is, in contrast to a simple riddle, splitting a word into syllables in such a way that each syllable has the meaning of an independent word. Then, as in a riddle, a description of each of these syllable words is given (for example, fact + hooray = texture). The concept of a syllable in charades does not coincide with the concept of a syllable in phonetics. A syllable in a charade may, in a particular case, be a phonetic syllable, but it may consist of several phonetic syllables, and it may not contain vowels at all.
The syllables in charades can be any part of speech: verbs, nouns, adjectives, unlike other riddles. Most often, charades are presented in verses. At the same time, the conceived word falls into monosteals.
Example:
My first syllable is on a tree,
My second syllable is union.
But in general, I - matter
And I'm good for a suit.
(cloth)
