Welcome to “Mole” – the exciting party game that requires teamwork and deception! In this game, players have to figure out who the mole is on their team, while at the same time the mole tries to guess the secret term without giving himself away. Immerse yourself in a round full of fun, excitement and clever deception!

Goal of the game: The goal of the game is to find out who the mole is as a team member. At the same time, the mole has to try to guess the secret term without being discovered.

Gameplay:

1. Choose vocabulary
Decide what age the vocabulary should be for. Little geniuses (up to approx. 12-14 years) or experienced thinkers (depending on the category chosen for young people or adults)

2. Select category
First, you select one or more categories (e.g. “Professions” or “Hobbies”). These categories help determine the topics of the secret terms. There are around 900 terms available for “Little Geniuses” and 3,000 terms for “Experienced Thinkers”.

3. Number of players
Next, you determine how many players in total will take part and how many moles there should be among them. In larger groups there can be several moles, depending on the mood.

4. Experience the word
At the beginning of each round you either learn the secret term or are chosen as a mole. If you are chosen as the mole, you don't know the term, you are just informed that you are the mole. To find out the word, click on “Show the term” – or, if you are the mole, stay in the dark and try to figure out the term through clever deception.

5. Ask questions or give hints
After each player has learned the word or has been selected as a mole, the actual game round begins.
In the first variant, each player takes turns asking a question about the secret term to find out whether the others know the word. The mole tries to deceive the team and give plausible answers. As a team member, you should answer honestly, but not give away too many clues so that the mole doesn't get the idea.
In the second variant, each player gives a clue that is associated with the secret term. However, the mole will try to appear convincing even though he doesn't know the term. Players take a turn at least once each round, and the game round can last different lengths depending on the players' abilities.

6. Victory of the mole or exposure
The mole tries to guess the secret term and call it the other one. If he exposes himself, the game is over. However, if a team member believes they have identified the mole based on the answers or clues, they can initiate a vote to unmask the suspicious person. The team wins if they correctly uncover the mole. The mole wins if the team doesn't spot him and he guesses the secret word.
