Release 1.0 - Show your photos on the device to others in a slideshow mode or browse mode along with photo details like date taken, description and location (address and map) where it was taken. One can select photos from desired albums or folders, photos with date added within the from and to date range and location name.

Slideshow - supports options like slide transition time, time to wait before displaying the photo details (so as to allow the viewers to enjoy the full photo display without any overlay and also to allow the viewers to remember the photo location, date or event associated with the photo). One can opt to display the map of the location where the photo was taken along with options like display the map before displaying the photo, after displaying the photo and automatic zoom in.

Browse - supports the display of a map associated with the photo with full control on moving to the next photo or previous photo and when to display the photo details. No timer driven transitions.

Edit - can edit the photo to update the date taken, title and location. Can use this to add details to the photo that does not contain EXIF data (old digital photos or scanned photos). These details are stored with the image as EXIF data.

Gather local photos - use this to gather photos stored locally on the device in an incremental fashion with selectable from and to dates. This is to focus on photos of interest and be able to use slideshow or browse without waiting for caching of all photos in a local device.

Google Photo Picker - use this to show the photos from google photos repository. The google photo picker allows this application to show the photos in a secure way. Since google photo picker does not allow access to the EXIF data of the image, image title, and location are not shown for the photos picked.

Import / Export Photo Info - use this to export or update photo details to google drive, or import from google drive. Can also be used to export to the local Download folder or import from the Download folder. Update to Google Drive from multiple devices having few common photos among new photos allows one to get a consolidated list of photo details from all devices and allow import of those details to all devices uniformly, thus, enabling editing photo details once on one device and propagating that change to all other devices. The exported photo details in the Download folder can be used to identify photos in multiple albums and delete photos selectively using other applications.

This application can be used to jog the memory (guess the date and location where the photo was taken before the display of photo details), recall the geographic area visited in the past (in which city, state or country that photo was taken before the display of map). It can also be used by parents to tell a story to the children about the events in the past or senior citizens to remember the past with significant others.

This application can be used while doing comparison shopping, to take pictures, add description about what you liked or disliked about that item, which shop etc. It can be a handy tool especially while searching for an apartment or house.

Can be used in educational settings to show the historic picture, map where the event took place along with the date, description of that event. With delayed display of description, one can let students guess the answer before the answer is displayed.
