RIDE is Rheinmetall Denel Munition’s internal transport app for fast, reliable rides in minutes during office hours. With RIDE, you just tap to book a ride to your next meeting, to transport components and see suppliers off-site.

Whether you’re going to a meeting on the other side of the site, transporting components between plants, rushing to attend to an emergency - there’s a RIDE for every occasion. RIDE is available to all RDM employees who are permanently based at the Somerset West site or to those employees visiting from other RDM sites.

Booking your RIDE is easy — here’s how it works:

• Open the RIDE application via your mobile phone, desktop or RIDE station.
• Log in using your name and company or personal cell phone number.
• Select Call-A-Ride or Drive Yourself via the main screen menu
• Complete and submit your RIDE details (date & time, pick-up/drop off location)
• You will then receive a confirmation notification
• You’ll see your driver’s picture, vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map
• After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the RIDE experience.

Need to get from A to B quickly? Use the Call-A-Ride option
If you have scheduled meetings or need to be at more than one place, either on-site or off-site? Use the Drive Yourself option
Need to transport large groups for client visits? simply book your RIDE in advance!
