HIS - SSH & SFTP SE (SSH & SFTP Standard Edition) is a dual-purpose open-sourced Secure Shell (SSH & SFTP) client. This product allows you, on any supported Android device, to connect through a SINGLE session to a Secure Shell or SFTP run on a remote UNIX-based server via phone or wireless connection.

The user name, password, hostname and port details to access the remote computer are stored locally and encrypted using modern cryptography (for convenience only to avoid having to retype the authentication information each time the application is started).

This client also allows you to connect to Amazon Web Services UNIX-based servers by also supporting Public Key authentication.

All keystrokes captured during the session which is passed directly to the remote computer and all output received can optionally be retained in a local log file for audit purposes.

All remote data communication is handled securely, for both shell and SFTP, using modern cryptography (i.e. SSH Secure Shell over TCP).

It is recommended that a well-known virtual keyboard (i.e.Hackers Keyboard) be used to expose and customise control and functions keys needed for VI. Choose the keyboard with 3 rows US or 5 rows to expose the Escape and Function keys.

Special Keys supported in conjunction virtual keyboards include Control, Escape, Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, Arrow Up, Down, Left and Right Arrows keys.
