Imam Abul Hasan ash-Syadzili (593-656 H) apart from being known as a very pious scholar, a faqih (fiqh scholar), muhaddits (hadith expert), was also known as a Sufism scholar. His knowledge is very broad. His knowledge is like the ocean in its breadth, like a mountain in its strength, and like the sky in its height. He became one of the scholars who was highly respected by the scholars of his time and the scholars who followed him to this day. He is known as a religious scholar. One of the orders that is very famous among Muslims is the Syadiliyah order. This congregation is a legacy of Imam ash-Syadzili which continues to develop and be practiced.

The breadth of Imam Syadzili's knowledge can be seen from the various hizibs he compiled. Every hizib written contains many benefits. It contains knowledge, ethics, monotheism, mention of the majesty of Allah SWT and His power. There is also mention of the humiliation of humans and their shortcomings, mention of the dangers of immorality and its impacts, and various other benefits. In this way, the reader will not only focus on reading the wirid, but can also introspect that he is very humble and really needs Allah.
