Jews settled in Odessa almost from the moment of its foundation and have always played an important role in the life of the city. In 1920, Jews made up almost half of the population (44%), and according to the last Soviet census - about 6% (65 thousand people). Today, of course, there are much fewer of them due to the massive immigration of the 90s, but the city's Jewish community is still one of the largest in Ukraine and is very active. A significant part of community programs is presented in the appendix. In addition, a variety of reference information is at your service.
