How do I get started and where do I get ideas for my story?
Get ideas from nearly any common, commonplace situation. Get out of your home to see real people and the real world and ideas will come from the most random places. Make sure to write down these thoughts so that you don't forget them. Furthermore, think about the type of story you want to write so that you can move your descriptions in this direction.

1. First, simply describe a typical scene you have seen in a store:
The man put on the socks, took the girl out of her hand and got out.

2. Now, change the sentence. Make it include more of the senses. Experiment how different words can completely change the mood of a situation. Use adjectives and adverbs:

The man forcibly threw his purchases at the target's clerk, grabbed the 5-year-old roughly by the arm and led her towards the door.

3. Add another sentence or three to fully describe what happened next or its consequences. Use adjectives so you can fully portray characters. Vary the length of the sentence - sometimes long, sometimes short. Non-event. It is a fiction. Be creative:

She kept yelling at the top of her lungs all the way. The hem of the girl's ripped Sunday dress sucks the bright red blood from her broken lip. The man shoved his long brown hair cruelly from his eyes, wiped his rough hand on his dirt-stained pants, and dragged its resistant and checkered shape to a rusty 1980's Ford.

4. Add some dialogue, some quotes and conflict. Add a twist so that what the reader initially thought of changes slightly:

"Shut up. Shut up. Do you hear me!" He shouted as he fastened her seat belt and ineffectively tried to gently wipe her face with a tissue. "Never do it again! I saw you put candy in your pocket. We never do it. It steals, and I'll pay for everything we need. No kid will steal me anything at all."

Here, we've fastened her seat belt and gently wiped her face. These are not the behavior of an indifferent father. You have caught the reader's attention now so he wants to know more. Things are so much fun and so confusing that the reader just can't stop right now.

Use correct grammar in dialogue to show that he is a learner, and use poor grammar to show a lack of education, perhaps a low IQ or even a level of frustration. The way people say things reveals about them, their thoughts, moods, etc.

5. Expand descriptions of what is happening around this scene. Describe what other people have to say in the store. Use dialogue in their conversation:

The employee stood still staring at the candy the man had pulled from Megan's little pocket. Jonathan was a proud father and always talked about how to take care of his family.

"did you see that?" The older man said in a tone of disapproval as he applied shampoo and potato chips to the table. "People like that shouldn't have children."

Mary shook her head and commented, "I've never seen him get angry before. Maybe I should call my manager at the police. But I don't want to get him in trouble. It's usually very nice, and I've seen him a lot over the past two years, he and his disabled son. You know, the different person." ".

Now you have a great start to your story. It is your turn to keep writing.
