Now you can play the classic strategy board game Dragons of 1066 on your computer.
In Dragons of 1066 each player controls one of four warring Kingdoms in Mythic Europe.
The game begins with pieces representing the opposing armies of legions, knights, warbeasts, kraken, galleons, eagles and, of course, dragons - all arrayed on the board as they were in the year 1066 of the Age of Dragons.
On your turn, you move your pieces to create battles, and resolve those battles by rolling dice. Then you reposition your remaining pieces and recruit new pieces to the board.
To win, you and your ally must work together to capture all four great Fortresses on the board. (In a two player game, players play both sides of the alliance.)
The rules of Dragons of 1066 are straightforward, but take some effort to learn. Once you have mastered the rules, you will be able to join the Dragons community and enjoy the game for years to come.
This app provides an official digital version of the game, beautifully illustrated by Dave Montes. It also includes an easy way to connect with friends and other players to play together online, both casually and competitively.
Cross Play and Account Linking
Dragons features cross-platform play with players on Steam or IOS. In addition, you can link your Dragons account here with the Dragons app on Steam to play you turns anywhere.
True Roll
Rolling dice is important in Dragons of 1066, and this digital version employs the True Roll dice system. True Roll lets you, not the computer, roll the dice, generating fair results through your own throwing action, just as you would when playing the box game. Learn more about the True Roll system at trueroll.games.
