Rumah Baca Tirai Ilmu is a library with fun-library concept which was established on October 9th 2015 with the aim to develop reading interest and life-skill of local people surrounding them. the idea belongs to a group of students who serve the people and community which have problems in technology utilization and reading issue.

Rumah Baca Tirai Ilmu provides a place to play and learn either applied science or other knowledge. there are programs that aim to increase their interests in reading and telling story, namely, "Minggu Bersama Buku", english course, poetry contest, and drawing contest. In these such activities, Rumah Baca Tirai Ilmu invite students and volunteers to help them in order to develop any talent or interest in the community.

In addition, in order to protect children from negative activity or behavior, Rumah Baca Tirai Ilmu dedicates themselves in the field of environment management of plastic waste policy that leads them to create a product that has a sale value. it also aims to create a clean environment and protect the earth. In arts field, Rumah Baca Tirai Ilmu develops a site and youtube channel in order to show up their creations in arts, such as; short movie, song, and poetry.
