As a private health insurance, we feel committed to the best possible protection of your health data. For the use of the full functions of the app a so-called 2-factor authentication is necessary. After a first registration step, where you need to enter information such as name, first name, insurance number and date of birth, you can use the basic features of the app. The focus here is on the bill submission function. For the second registration step, which is necessary for the use of the eGa, a TAN (= transaction number) must be entered, which will be provided to you by post or as an SMS. After entering the TAN, you can then use all the functions (eGA) of the "My DKV" app.

The DKV provides the app for free. Prerequisite for the use of the app is an existing insurance coverage at the DKV. Please note that there must be an internet connection for use.
