Each surf spot is unique and in one same day, two different spots can have a totally different surf to play with. Even two spots on the same beach could present totally different surf quality. So, if you want to go surfing, where should you go? Wouldn't be nice if there was an app which points you to the best spot to surf, now, near you?

Surf quality depends of many factors, such has the wind speed and direction, the swell size, period and direction, and the tide. So, if you know this factors for a specific spot, and you know the surf forecast, you can guess, more or less, how that spot will be today (or tomorrow). This kind of knowledge is hard to get, you get it by experience, you have to go there and learn: "Hummm, with south wind all the waves are broken here".

We gathered all this knowledge for 133 surf spots in Portugal, cross it with the surf forecast for today and tomorrow, and calculate a score between 0 and 100, being 100 the best. Next, we present you the best spots near your location, and you can decide how far are willing to go. That's it.
