Audio guide to the permanent exhibition “Jewish Relationship Stories” - The guide offers exciting background information about the permanent exhibition in the museum on the history of Christians and Jews as well as new perspectives on the history of Laupheim. The guide is supplemented with a city tour that links the exhibition and the city.
Exhibition
The first Jewish families came to Laupheim in 1724. One hundred and fifty years later, the largest Jewish community in Württemberg lived here. The relationships between Jews and Christians determined the history of Laupheim for more than two centuries. The close Christian-Jewish relationship shaped economic, political, social and public life. It was the decisive driving force behind the creation of modern Laupheim.
On your tour, experience relationship stories that tell of shared goals, of being present and belonging, of sociability, social cohesion and the longevity of prejudices. Immerse yourself in a diverse world of relationships that was irretrievably destroyed during National Socialism.
Professional speakers give contemporary witnesses a voice and thus provide a deep insight into the lost network of relationships in Laupheim.
Let yourself be guided through the exhibition “Jewish Relationship Stories” along 360-degree panoramas or simply enter the object number in the exhibition during the tour.
